Banco Cruzeiro do Sul five-year notes whispered at mid-8% area yield

Atlanta, Jan. 11 - Brazil's Banco Cruzeiro do Sul SA's five-year dollar-denominated senior notes (Ba2/BB-/) are being whispered at a yield in the mid-8% area, a market source said Tuesday.

Barclays Capital, BCP Securities and UBS are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S note offering.

Banco Cruzeiro do Sul is a Sao Paulo-based lender.
