Bakers Footwear unsecured creditors committee named by U.S. Trustee

Pittsburgh, Oct. 17 - Bakers Footwear Group, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed by U.S. Trustee Nancy J. Gargula, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

The committee members are Jayne Neal of Adjunct Trading HK Ltd. of Earth City, Mo.; Drew DeLisser of Bob & Bobby, Inc. of Los Angeles; Joel A. Kozol of East Mount Shoes, Ltd. of Boston; Julie Minnick Bowden of GGP LP of Chicago; Reyoung (Rey) Kim of the H. Company IP, LLC of Los Angeles; Neil Strauss of Mastership International Co., Ltd. of Southlake, Texas; Charles Greer of Pacific Wholesale, Inc. of Huntington Beach, Calif.; Nishant Vajpayee of Pulbright Investment Ltd. T/A Mita Enterprises Co. of Kowloon, Hong Kong; Ronald M. Tucker of Simon Property Group, Inc. of Indianapolis; Gregory Goldstein of Step Perfect Ltd. of New York; and Alan Novich of Steven Madden, Ltd. of Long Island City, N.Y.

Bakers, a St. Louis-based footwear retailer, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 3. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-49658.
