By Rebecca Melvin

New York, March 16 – Baidu, Inc. is offering dual tranches of U.S. dollar-denominated senior notes, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, JPMorgan and BofA Merrill Lynch are joint bookrunners for the deal, which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds from the notes will go toward repaying existing debt and for general corporate purposes.

Baidu is a Beijing-based web services company.
