Moody’s assigns Ba2(hyb) rating AerCap Holdings notes
Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Ba2(hyb) rating to the non-cumulative junior subordinated notes of AerCap Holdings NV and affirmed AerCap’s Baa3 backed long-term issuer rating.
“The Ba2(hyb) rating assigned to AerCap’s notes reflects the notes’ junior priority in AerCap’s capital structure and is also based on the junior subordinated guarantees provided by certain AerCap subsidiaries,” said Moody’s in a press release.
Moody’s sees AerCap’s capital position strengthening modestly after the offering is completed.
