Agspring Mississippi gets 120-day extension of exclusive periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 26 – Agspring Mississippi Region LLC secured a 120-day extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the court extended the plan filing period through May 9 and the solicitation period through July 8.

As previously reported, the company said the debtors requested the extension to focus their time and energy on post-closing transition issues, the sale of remaining estate assets, and working toward ultimately confirming a plan.

“Continued exclusivity will permit the debtors the ability to maintain flexibility in crafting an appropriate plan,” the company said in its motion.

“All of the debtors’ stakeholders will benefit from the debtors’ focused efforts to maximize the value of the debtors’ estates at this time.”

The company said its debtor-in-possession lenders have consented to the extension.

Agspring Mississippi Region is an agriculture supply chain services company based in Leawood, Kan. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 10 under Chapter 11 case number 21-11238.
