Astria Health official committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Olympia, Wash., May 24 – The U.S. Trustee overseeing Astria Health’s Chapter 11 case has appointed an official committee of unsecured creditors, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

The committee includes Justin Pitt of CHSPSC, LLC of Franklin, Tenn.; Adwoa Awotwi of LocumTenens.com, LLC of Alpharetta, Ga.; Mike Maples of Community Health of Central Washington of Yakima, Wash.; Patrick McCoy of Medtronic USA, Inc. of Columbia Heights, Minn.; Jerry Carpenter of Morrison Management Specialists, Inc. of Mobile, Ala.; James Craft of Apogee Physicians of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Janine Karwacki of Boston Scientific of Marlborough, Mass.

Astria Health is a Yakima, Wash., health care facility operator. The company filed bankruptcy on May 6 under Chapter 11 case number 19-01189.
