Advanced Micro Devices to redeem $200 million 4.5% convertibles

Philadelphia, Oct. 27 - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. said Thursday it will redeem all its outstanding 4.50% convertible senior notes due 2007 on Dec. 5.

As of Oct. 25, the outstanding notes totaled $200 million, officials said in a company news release.

The Bank of New York is the trustee for the notes and will handle questions about the redemption.

Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Advanced Micro Devices designs and produces microprocessors, Flash memory devices and low-power processor solutions for the computer, communication and consumer electronics industries.
