S&P sinks Akumin to D

S&P said it cut the ratings on Akumin Inc. and its revolving credit facility, senior notes due in 2025 and senior notes due in 2028 to D from CCC.

The downgrades follow Akumin filing protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, the agency said.

“We expect to reassess our ratings on the company and its new capital structure when it emerges from bankruptcy,” S&P said in a press release.
