Akin Gump announces promotion of Bivona as partner to Dallas office

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 2 – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP elected 15 new partners, among them Matthew D. Bivona, according to a press release.

Based in Dallas, Bivona’s practice includes all aspects of finance, corporate and securities law. He has represented borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured credit facilities and other lending arrangements, issuers in high-yield offerings and debtors and creditors in distressed debt restructurings, public companies in ongoing corporate and securities matters and real estate and hospitality companies in a wide range of financing activities, including mortgage and mezzanine lending arrangements, equity finance and joint ventures.

Akin Gump is a law firm based in New York with offices throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
