Adeptron to raise C$5 million from private placement of debentures with warrants

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, Aug. 28 - Adeptron Technologies Corp. said it has secured agreements for a C$5 million private placement of subordinated debentures with warrants.

The company also said it received a commitment for a senior lending facility for up to C$6.75 million.

The full terms of both financings could not be determined by press time Monday.

Proceeds from the two deals will be used to refinance the company's current senior lending facility and subordinated notes.

The two deals are slated to close in mid-September.

Adeptron, based in Markham, Ont., manufactures printed circuit boards used in electronic equipment.

The company's stock closed unchanged at C$0.18 on Monday (Toronto: ATQ).
