Adelphia reorganization hearing moved to March 15

Pittsburgh, Jan. 23 - Adelphia Communications Corp.'s plan of reorganization confirmation hearing was pushed back to March 15 from Feb. 22, according to a scheduling order filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The deadline for submission of ballot voting to accept or reject the plan was extended to Feb. 21 to Feb. 3.

Adelphia, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based cable operator, filed for bankruptcy on June 25, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
