S&P gives American Assets notes BBB-

S&P said it gave American Assets Trust LP’s proposed senior unsecured notes a BBB- rating.

The company plans to use the proceeds to fund its development of the third tower at La Jolla Commons, repay some of its unrated debt, including the $100 million outstanding on its credit line and its $150 million term loan A and for general corporate purposes.
