Moody's: Aviva debt A3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a hybrid A3 rating to the $400 million subordinated debt issuance of Aviva plc.

The outlook is stable, in line with the outlook on the Aviva plc Group.

Moody's said the rating reflects the instrument's ranking in liquidation, specifically its pari passu ranking with other dated subordinated debt and the A3 ratings on those securities.
