Fitch rates AVIC notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned AVIC International Holding Corp.’s proposed dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes a rating of A-.

The proposed notes will be sold by AVIC International Finance & Investment Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of AVIC International, and will be guaranteed by the parent.

“The proposed notes are rated at the same level as AVIC International’s senior unsecured rating, as they will constitute its direct and senior unsecured obligations,” Fitch said in a press release.

The company expects to use the proceeds for refinancing debt.
