Moody's rates Autodesk Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 senior unsecured rating to Autodesk, Inc.

The outlook is stable.

Autodesk's Baa2 rating is supported by the company's "solid competitive position in the design software sector and good market growth expectations, although the business is exposed to cyclical activity levels in construction and manufacturing," Moody's senior vice president Richard Lane said in a news release.

The rating also incorporates expectations of consistent cash flow generation, good liquidity and a moderately leveraged capital structure, the agency said.
