Aurora Oil & Gas net loss improves to $2.47 million in October

Pittsburgh, Nov. 20 - Aurora Oil & Gas Corp. posted a $2.47 million net loss for October on $1.02 million in total revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The figures showed improvement over the $2.59 million net loss reported in September on $884,020 in total revenues.

Aurora had $71,011 in cash and cash equivalents at Oct. 31, down from $747,695 at the end of September.

Meanwhile, Aurora debtor Hudson Pipeline & Processing Co., LLC posted $98,795 of net income for October on $328,159 in total revenues, compared with $106,053 of net income for September on $329,109 in revenues.

Hudson Pipeline had $2.27 million in cash at Oct. 31, down slightly from $2.31 million at the end of September.

Aurora, a Traverse City, Mich.-based independent energy company, filed for bankruptcy on July 12 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-08254.
