Aurora Oil & Gas reports $2.59 September net loss; revenues $884,020

New York, Oct. 21 - Aurora Oil & Gas Corp. posted a $2.59 million net loss for September on $884,020 in total revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In comparison, the company reported a $2.84 million net loss for August on $963,579 in total revenues.

Aurora had $747,695 in cash and cash equivalents at Sept. 30, down from $1.87 million at the end of August.

Aurora, a Traverse City, Mich.-based independent energy company, filed for bankruptcy on July 12 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-08254.

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Aurora debtor Hudson Pipeline posted a net income of $106,053 for September on $329,109 in revenues. The company had $2.31 million in cash and cash equivalents at Sept. 30.
