Fitch affirms Attijari

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Attijari Leasing's national ratings at long-term BB+(tun) and short-term B(tun).

The outlook is stable.

The agency said Attijari Leasing's ratings reflect its integration within the Attijariwafa Bank (BB+/stable) through Attijari Bank Tunisie. Fitch believes there is a high propensity of support from Attijari Bank Tunisie and, ultimately, Attijariwafa Bank, for Attijari Leasing in the case of need.

Attijari Leasing's liquidity remains very tight but benefits from the support of its bank shareholders in case of need and will benefit from the company's return to the bond market in the second half of 2009, the agency said.
