ATP Oil & Gas records $26.5 million income from operations for July

Pittsburgh, Aug. 21 - ATP Oil & Gas Corp. posted $26.5 million of income from operations for July on $40.19 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Those figures showed a significant improvement over the $163.96 million loss from operations reported in June on $18.06 million in revenues.

Net income for July was $14.29 million, compared with a $73.49 million June net loss.

The company also reported $13.89 million of cash as of July 31, down from $16.29 million at the end of June.

ATP Oil & Gas is a Houston-based offshore oil and gas development and production company focused in the Gulf of Mexico, the Mediterranean Sea and the North Sea. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 17, 2012 under Chapter 11 case number 12-36187.
