ATP Oil & Gas loss from operations plunges to $163.96 million in June

Pittsburgh, July 22 - ATP Oil & Gas Corp. posted a $163.96 million loss from operations in June on $18.06 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed July 19 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The figures showed a significant decline from the $4.05 million loss from operations reported for May on $27.69 million of revenues.

The June net loss totaled $83.49 million, widening from a $25.71 million May net loss.

The company also reported $16.29 million of cash as of June 30, down from $36.34 million at the end of May.

ATP Oil & Gas is a Houston-based offshore oil and gas development and production company focused in the Gulf of Mexico, the Mediterranean Sea and the North Sea. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 17, 2012 under Chapter 11 case number 12-36187.
