Atlas Air registers shelf to sell up to $500 million of securities

New York, June 5 - Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. filed a shelf registration for up to $500 million of securities in an S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered under the shelf are debt securities, preferred stock and common shelf. Securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes.

Atlas Air is a Purchase, N.Y., provider of air cargo and related services worldwide.
