Atlantis Plastics in talks on amending term loan covenants

New York, Nov. 14 - Atlantis Plastics Inc. is negotiating an amendment to its senior secured credit facility to change certain financial covenants through the remainder of the loan term, according to a 10-Q filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday.

Without an amendment, the company projects that it would not be able to comply with the current covenants for the remainder of 2006 throughout 2007.

Atlantis Plastics is an Atlanta-based manufacturer of specialty polyethylene films and molded and extruded plastic components.
