Atlantic Tele-Network announces plans for universal shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 9 - Atlantic Tele-Network Inc. said in a 10-Q that it expects to file a universal shelf registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the second half of 2009.

The shelf will replace a previous shelf filing that expired in June.

The company is a Salem, Mass.-based provider of wireless and wireline telecommunication services.
