U.S. Trustee amends Acceptance Insurance's unsecured creditors' committee

Washington, Jan. 19 - The Office of the U.S. Trustee amended Acceptance Insurance Cos. Inc.'s unsecured creditors' committee membership to add representatives of Deutsche Bank and Deltec Asset Management, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska.

The members of the Council Bluffs, Iowa-based insurance company's official committee of unsecured creditors are: Carl Mammel, Mammel Foundation; Arnold Joffe, Grace-Mayer Insurance; Bill Brush, First and Grand; Alan Parsow; Mike Erman, Industrial Label; Steve Lococo; Stanley Burg of Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas as a trustee; and Peter Coolidge of Deltec Asset Management.

Acceptance filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 7. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-80059.
