Argent Energy Trust securities to be delisted from TSX on March 24

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Feb. 24 – Argent Energy Trust said its 6% convertible unsecured debentures due June 30, 2018 and 6.5% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures due Dec. 30, 2018 will be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange as of the close of the market on March 24, according to a news release.

Argent said the delisting results from its failure to meet continued listing requirements.

Trading in the securities of the trust will remain suspended until the delisting date, the release said.

Argent is a foreign asset trust based in Calgary, Alta., with oil and gas properties located primarily in south Texas and Oklahoma.
