New Orleans Archdiocese reports $1.72 million net loss for January

Olympia, Wash., March 1 – The Roman Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of New Orleans reported a $1.72 million net loss for January on $11 million gross income, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
The cash balance at the end of January was $54.11 million.
The archdiocese filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on May 1, 2020. The case number is 20-10846.
