Fitch rates Apollo notes BBB-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a BBB- rating to Apollo Investment Corp.'s $175 million of 5.75% convertible notes due Jan. 15, 2016.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds are expected to be used to fund new portfolio investments, reduce borrowings on the secured revolving facility and for general corporate purposes.
