ABN Amro to price digital buffer securities linked to S&P 500

Chicago, April 8 - ABN Amro Bank NV plans to price zero-coupon digital buffer securities due Oct. 29, 2010 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 17% if the index gains. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will be exposed to losses beyond 20%.

The notes will price on April 28 and settle on April 30.
