American Airlines and Orbitz Worldwide agree to resolve litigation

Pittsburgh, April 1 - AMR Corp. wholly owned subsidiary American Airlines reached an agreement with Orbitz Worldwide, LLC to resolve all litigation between them, according to an Orbitz news release.

The settlement is subject to approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

No details of the settlement were included in the release. Orbitz said neither company would comment further at this time.

AMR Corp., the Fort Worth, Texas-based parent of American Airlines, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 29, 2011. Its Chapter 11 case number is 11-15463.
