AMF Bowling marks $9.01 million of operating income for Dec. 31-Feb. 3

Pittsburgh, March 14 - AMF Bowling Worldwide, Inc. reported $9.01 million of operating income for the period of Dec. 31 to Feb. 3 on $46.65 million in operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed March 14 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The figures showed improvement from the $4.81 million of operating income posted for the period of Dec. 2 to Dec. 30 on $35.4 million in operating revenue.

Net income for the January period was $3.26 million, up from $1.06 million of net income for the December period.

The company had $30.08 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Feb. 3, up from $27.2 million at Dec. 30.

Based in Richmond, Va., AMF is the world's largest owner and operator of bowling centers. The company filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 13 under Chapter 11 case number 12-36495.
