American Medical Systems files automatic debt, stock shelf

New York, June 19 - American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. registered to sell common stock, senior debt securities, subordinated debt securities and senior subordinated debt securities in an S-3ASR automatic shelf filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The senior subordinated debt can be structured as convertibles.

American Medical Systems, a Minnetonka, Minn., supplier of medical devices and procedures focused on pelvic disorders, will use proceeds for general corporate purposes unless specified otherwise at the time of sale.
