ABB Lummus posts July earnings before interest and taxes of $2.3 million

Eugene, Ore., Aug. 22 - ABB Lummus Global Inc. reported earnings before interest and taxes of $2.3 million for July on revenues of $22.08 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In June, the company posted a $2.8 million loss before interest and taxes on revenues of $25.03 million.

The net loss for July was $1.11 million, compared with a net loss of $4.88 million in June.

Cash on July 31 was $14.27 million, up from $10.39 million at June 30.

Lummus, based in Houston and Bloomfield, N.J., provides contractor services including project management, construction and engineering to the oil and gas, refining and petrochemical industries. It filed for bankruptcy on April 21. Its case number is 06-10401.
