New Issue: TD sells $1.05 million callable contingent interest barrier notes on tech stocks

By Kiku Steinfeld

Chicago, Jan. 14 – Toronto-Dominion Bank priced $1.05 million of callable contingent interest barrier notes due Jan. 11, 2024 linked to the common stocks of Apple Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., Alphabet Inc. and Netflix, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each month, the notes will pay a contingent coupon at an annual rate of 18.25% if each stock closes at or above the 70% contingent interest barrier level on the observation date for that period.

The notes will be callable at par on any quarterly interest payment date starting after six months.

The payout at maturity will be par unless any stock finishes below the 70% barrier level, in which case investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the lesser-performing stock from its initial level.
