Intel fully guarantees 1.75%, 2.5% and 4.1% notes issued by Altera

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 29 – Intel Corp. entered into an agreement Monday to unconditionally guarantee Altera Corp.’s 1.75% senior notes due 2017, 2.5% senior notes due 2018 and 4.1% senior notes due 2023, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Intel guaranteed the notes after closing its acquisition of Altera.

U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.

Intel is a semiconductor manufacturer based in Mountain View, Calif. Altera is a semiconductor company based in San Jose, Calif.
