New York, March 12 – AltaGas Ltd. has agreed to issue C$350 million of 1.227% medium-term notes due 2024 and $200 million of 2.166% medium-term notes due 2027 (//BBB), according to a press release on Friday.
The offering is being made through a syndicate of investment dealers co-led by RBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank and TD Securities Inc. under AltaGas' short form base shelf prospectus.
The proceeds will be used to pay down existing debt under AltaGas' credit facility and for general corporate purposes.
AltaGas is an energy company based in Calgary, Alta.
