Alkaline Water announces plans to sell 35 million units in public sale

H.C. Wainwright raises funds for machine purchases and working capital

Knoxville, Tenn., April 3 - Alkaline Water Co. Inc. will sell 35 million units in its public sale, according to a Form S-1/A filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal was announced Nov. 27 and originally was set to sell 20 million units, the company reported on March 12.

The units will consist of one common share and a half-share warrant.

H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC is the agent.

Proceeds will be used to purchase alkaline generating electrolysis system machines and a bottling plant, to redeem preferred stock and for working capital.

The water products company is based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
