New York, Sept. 24 – The Republic of Albania, through its Minister of Finance and Economy, has mandated Banca IMI, Citigroup and Societe Generale CIB to arrange a series of fixed income investor meetings regarding a planned euro-denominated offering of notes with an intermediate tenor, according to a syndicate source on Monday.

Meetings for the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes will be held across Europe beginning of Wednesday, with a transaction to follow subject to market conditions.

The sovereign issuer also announced on Monday a cash tender offer of up to €200 million principal amount of an outstanding €450 million of its 5¾% notes due 2020. Banca IMI, Citigroup and Societe Generale CIB are dealer managers for the tender.
