Airspan files $50 million shelf

Chicago, June 11 - Airspan Networks Inc. registered to sell up to $50 million of securities, according to an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the shelf are common stock, convertible preferred stock and warrants.

The company will use proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The company's stock (Nasdaq: AIRN) closed at $3.44 June 11.

Airspan is a supplier of broadband wireless equipment based in Boca Raton, Fla.
