S&P ups Agilent to positive

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Agilent Technologies Inc. to positive from stable and affirmed the BBB- corporate credit rating.

The ratings on Agilent reflect its diversified product set, customer base and geography; its leading market position in its addressed markets; and historically moderate leverage for the rating level, the agency said.

Exposure to cyclical end markets and integration risk associated with the recent Varian Inc. acquisition partially offset these factors, the agency added.
