Agilent Technologies adds $500 million 364-day incremental loan

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 8 – Agilent Technologies, Inc. added a 364-day $500 million non-amortizing incremental term loan under its credit agreement dated March 13 with BNP Paribas as administrative agent on Wednesday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

The company did not draw under the facility at closing, but may do so until Aug. 30.

The incremental loan matures on Aug. 5, 2020.

Interest is Libor plus 62.5 basis points to 125 bps, depending on the company’s senior debt credit ratings. Based on current ratings, the initial margin is 75 bps.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp. acted as lead arranger and bookrunner for the incremental loan.

Agilent is based in Santa Clara, Calif., and provides bio-analytic and electronic measurement solutions.
